Hello there!
Happiest when outdoors with a camera in hand and mud under boot, my filmmaking journey 9 years ago, documenting the first 223 mile source-to-sea swim of the River Severn by Kev Brady. Creating a daily film for 26 days amongst the changing landscapes whilst paddling alongside sparked a curiosity in me the stories that could be told through the medium. Since then, through a mix of brilliant mentors and meaningful collaborations, I’ve gone on to direct and shoot commercials, campaigns, and micro-documentaries for brands around the world, and have had the chance to feature work in film festivals in the UK and Australia.
What I love most about collaborating is the stories that unfold between takes - the conversations that unexpectedly shape the rest of a shoot day for the better. Filming people who are passionate about what they do is a real highlight for me (and if we're outdoors, even better!).
Between client projects, I'm currently working as a cinematographer on a longform documentary, Cotswolds: Field & Folk - http/www.cotswoldsfilm.co.uk
When I’m not filming, you’ll find me paddling local rivers, hiking trails, or hanging out with our two pet tortoises, Aspen and Elm.
Fair warning: I will absolutely get distracted by wildlife mid-shoot.
